Bring Pages to Life on the iPad with iBooks Author
Bring pages to life with iBooks Author. iBooks Author is a free application that allows you to create your own interactive multi-touch books for the iPad. The means to create and publish your own eBook is finally here! This session will show participants around the basics of iBooks Author like adding widgets, creating new chapters, previewing on an iPad, and publishing to the iBookstore. Participants will get the opportunity to see the entire iBook creation process on screen. Whatever your project, from a college textbook to a middle school newspaper, this session will help you make the most of iBooks Author.

In order to be successful in school and beyond, struggling readers need to learn how to effectively utilize technology. This session will explore how iPads can engage and empower students to help them access information, organize their ideas, share their knowledge and study more efficiently.
